Tuvalu

Tuvalu is an island nation made of of 9 islands in the the south pacific that is a part of the British Commonwealth.

Tuvalu has gained some attention in the media recently with all the climate changes the  island has been under a lot of flooding and there is debate on how long the island will survive.

As a country they are doing there bit for climate change in order to try and help to keep there home. The country gains all of its electricity in solar power. They have now put in place tours to showcase the eco work that they are doing for others to learn from when they come to visit.

One of the most amazing things about Tuvalu is that they have siesta time like many hot countries do however hey call it hammock time as everyone gets in there hammocks for a snooze.
