Scotland  

Scotland is a country in the United Kingdom on the island of Great Britain famed for its tartans, kilt wearing men, fairy tale castles, haggis, hairy cows and castles. 

 

 

When visiting Scotland for the first time it is best to start out with Edinburgh as it has all the things people traditionally want to see when visiting Scotland. Edinburgh castle is placed right in the center of the the city tower above the Princes Gardens. As you walk up to the castle you will pass many kilt wearing bag pipers playing entrance music to your visit. At the bottom of the hill down the Royal Mile you will find the Palace for you to visit and explore. 

Many people get there preconceptions about Scotland from the movie Braveheart and so for them Stirling the city to visit. There you can go to the Stirling castle where Braveheart was set. You can even see live re-enactments of the the historical story.
