Serbia

Serbia is situated at the crossroads of South-east Europe and Central Europe  in central Balkans.

Although Serbia is not always seen as your typical tourist destination in 2018 there were over 3.4 million recorded in paid for accommodations of which over half were foreign. Of these tourists 2/3 of them visited either Belgrade or Novisad. Serbia is perfect mix of east vs west which transitions into the culture of the country every day.

Serbia’s capital Belgrade is the number one tourist spot and it is a city that takes a little bit of getting used to. You may not love it at the beginning  but it will worm its way into your heart by the end of your visit. Belgrade is filled live music, delicious foods, tranquil parks, beautiful lakes and river and a deep history that seeps throughout the city.

Novisad is most famed for its music festival EXIT that takes place each year on the ‘Fortress’. Founded in 2000 this summer music festival is a highlight in the city’s calendar. Outside of EXIT the city of Novisad is quite charming to visit with nice eateries, beautiful architecture and of course a fabulous nightlife.
