North Macedonia is a landlocked country that is defined primarily by mountains, valleys and rivers.
The country has the most beautiful churches, cathedrals and mosques dotted all over the country all in a mix of the ancient Balkan histories and the laid back Mediterranean vibe.
The 3 big lakes of Macedonia; Lake Orchid, Lake Prespa and Lake Djran are all amazing places to visit. These tectonic lakes are filled with plankton and rare fish species. If you get the chance hire a boat and take it out on the waters.
For the avid wine lovers out there, there are so many wineries to go and visit. Go and do a wine tasting tour and see the vines at their peek. Winery ‘Bovin’ is one of our favorites but make sure you have plenty of room to take some home with you.
