Bangladesh is located on the Bay of Bengal in the South of Asia. Bangladesh’s tourism numbers are in increasing every year.
In 2012 the tourist economy accounted for 1.8% of the countries total employment. Bangladesh is a travel destination rather than a vacation place but it is absolutely somewhere that should be added to the bucket list.
Bangladesh is a very crowed country and Sadarghat is no exception. The riverfront is filled with the hustle and bustle of the shipyard and cargo and people moving around. However behind all of that you can find the glorious Pink Castle of Ahsan Manzil. The Ahsan Manzil served as the home to the Nawab of Dhaka in the past however now is a museum.
For somewhere a little more peaceful then a trip to the Lala Khal is the perfect place to take a trip down this beautiful Bangladeshi river. The river is known for its ever change water colour.
